I’m Against AI in Art

Many people still don’t understand why it’s so important to take a stand against AI in the art world. This isn’t just about technology — it’s about the survival of artists as professionals, creators, and human beings.

Artists invest years of learning, practice, and passion into their craft. With AI flooding platforms with effortless, soulless outputs, experienced artists risk losing their jobs — and beginners often give up before they even begin. How can a human compete with an infinite machine?

AI is not art.
Drawing has existed for thousands of years — and digital drawing is a direct heir to that tradition. But AI doesn’t create — it copies, mimics, and steals. Every AI-generated image is built on the backs of real artists whose work was scraped without consent. That’s not inspiration. That’s theft.

There is no place for AI art on platforms like ArtStation. I don’t want to see it here. I don’t want to see it anywhere in the art space.
Companies driving this industry forward act like it’s progress. It’s not. It’s destruction.
The profession of concept artists is being dismantled under the illusion of innovation.

Those who support AI often don’t grasp the full consequences — how deeply it affects real people who create with their hands, hearts, and minds. People who craft masterpieces, only to see their styles swallowed up by a machine that gives nothing back.

I’m against AI.
Not out of fear — but out of respect for what art truly is.
Not in this industry.
Not now.
Not ever.
